The cosmetics of the chair is great. But, the chair does not fit me. I cannot get the tilt tension knob to turn enough to loosen the tilt mechanism. The over-all center on the lower frame is too far to the front of the chair. This is a most uncomfortable chair. I would not recommend to my friends.

I bought this chair in April and it has gotten progressively noisier in the tilt and swivel mechanism. I didn't buy the high priced warranty so I tried to help it myself. I tried oiling all moving parts, adding screws to the base in case it was flexing, adding a crossbolt to the bracket that holds the hydraulic cylinder, and oiling the tension spring for the tilt back. Nothing helped.
To recover my money, at least tax wise, I'm going to donate it to a charitable org.
